40 UMW College of Business Students Tapped for Honor

The UMW College of Business has tapped the inaugural class for its chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma!  Beta Gamma Sigma,  the International Business Honor Society, was founded in 1913, and has 599 chapters in more than 190 countries.  The College of Business’ inductees will be joining 830,000 global members of Beta Gamma Sigma, and will have access to all of the programs, connections, benefits, and opportunities associated with it.

In order to qualify, students must be in the top 10% of their junior or senior class at an AACSB accredited school of business.  UMW’s College of Business earned AACSB accreditation in Fall, 2018, and is proud to offer their students the opportunity to be recognized as the “best in the business”.  Eleven MBA students and twenty-nine undergraduate students were invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma, which has a lifetime membership.  The induction ceremony will be held at the COB Honors Night on April 9th.
