About the College of Business
The COB offers two degrees and a graduate certificate: a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, and the graduate certificate in Project Management. The BSBA is offered solely at the Fredericksburg campus, although there is an online pathway to earn the degree. The BSBA offers majors in accounting, business administration, international business, management and entrepreneurship, and marketing.
The MBA is offered at the Fredericksburg campus, and it too has an online pathway. Both online pathways were developed post-pandemic. The College offers the graduate certificate in Project Management at the Dahlgren campus for professionals who work on the base at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). Many certificate students continue in the MBA program after they have completed their Project Management Certificate at Dahlgren.
The COB’s organizational structure includes a Dean, an Associate Dean, the Entrepreneurship and Communications Manager, the Careers and Events Manager, the Small Business Development Center Director, two Small Business Development Consultants, and an Office Manager.
