His passion for the game and exposing what the game has to offer to local communities drives him each day.\u00a0 The mantra of 7<sup>th<\/sup> Inning Stretch is to increase each team\u2019s presence in their local communities, be a corporate leader in local initiatives and youth sports, develop committed and capable employees, and to provide an abundance of opportunity for affordable entertainment at our venues.<\/p>\n<p>Pat began his career in January 1991 with the Prince William Cannons of the Carolina League in Sales and Operations.\u00a0 He was promoted to General Manager in January of 1993.\u00a0 He remained with Prince William until September 1998 when he became the Vice President\/General Manager of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League.\u00a0 In September of 2003 Pat became the President of the Fresno Grizzlies of the Pacific Coast League where he remained until joining 7<sup>th<\/sup> Inning Stretch in July 2006. In addition, the program encourages the involvement of local business leaders in the life of the University.<\/p>\n<h2>A Flagship Program of the UMW\u00a0College of Business<\/h2>\n<p>Business classes have been an integral part of the University of Mary Washington curriculum from the 1920\u2019s. \u00a0In fact, one of the first three graduates with a four year degree was a Commercial Arts major.\u00a0 Since then, many UMW business alumni have found success in an array of businesses, government agencies, schools and not-for-profit organizations. Some have risen through the ranks to executive positions in the U.S. and abroad, some are entrepreneurs running very successful enterprises, and some are teachers and professors.<\/p>\n<p>Officially founded in 2010, the College of Business continues to build upon the Mary Washington tradition of a well-rounded undergraduate program in the liberal arts, with small classes that encourage direct interaction with its expert faculty. Under the direction of Acting Dean Ken Machande, the undergraduate business program remains firmly rooted in its liberal arts foundation.
