Meet the Assistant Dean of Advising Services

Ms. Cropp is the Assistant Dean of Advising Services for the College of Business. Her primary duties as a member of the administrative faculty include advising students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Management Information Systems and Dual Degree programs at the University’s Stafford campus.  She also advises students in the Bachelor of Professional Studies degree and manages the teach-out of that program.  Additionally, Ms. Cropp provides orientation for new students to the Master’s degree programs and serves as a faculty adviser to the National Omicron-Psi Honor Society. 

 Assistant Dean Cropp has been associated with the University for over 20 years.  During her tenure, among other positions, she has served as an enrollment administrator and faculty adviser for students in the non-traditional degree programs:   Bachelor of Liberal Students, Bachelor of Professional Studies, and the Master’s programs in the College of Business. 

 Assistant Dean Cropp is a member of several professional organizations including the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA).  She has also served as president of the Association of Virginia Individualized Studies Administrators (AVISA), as well as a consultant to the State Council of Higher Education (SCHEV) for non-traditional programs.
